Fit, Load and Substrate Decide the Product

A mask is mostly water, humectants and a small group of actives, carried on a substrate. That means the substrate and the essence load matter as much as the actives: a heavier substrate holds more serum but feels slower, and a thin one feels lighter but can dry out sooner.

We agree three things before quoting — the **essence volume per mask** (typically 20–30 ml), the **substrate** (cotton, tencel, hydrogel or bio-cellulose), and the **active group** and its concentration. For wash-off clay masks the equivalents are the clay blend, the paste consistency and the packaging format.

Masks are filled, sealed and cartoned on the same site, so the sachet seal, the print register and the carton text are checked together rather than arriving from different suppliers. Each finished batch is released with a COA.

Incoming material checks

Raw materials and components are checked against the agreed specification before a batch is scheduled, and results are kept with the batch record.

Weight, appearance and fill checks run through production, so drift is caught while the line is still running rather than after packing.

Finished goods are released against the specification and shipped with a Certificate of Analysis for the batch, plus the artwork files we produced.

Can we choose the mask substrate?
