Viscosity and Package Go Together

Serums sit between water and oil: they must flow through a dropper or a pump without dripping, and stay stable at the concentration of actives you want. Viscosity is therefore agreed together with the container, not separately from it.

We settle three points before quoting — the **active group and its concentration**, the **texture** (water-light, gel, emulsion or oil), and the **packaging** (dropper bottle, airless pump or single-dose ampoule). Where an active is light- or oxygen-sensitive, the container and the fill headspace are chosen accordingly.

Filling, capping and cartoning run on the same site. Fill weight is checked through the run, and each finished batch is released against the specification with a COA.

Incoming material checks

Raw materials and components are checked against the agreed specification before a batch is scheduled, and results are kept with the batch record.

Weight, appearance and fill checks run through production, so drift is caught while the line is still running rather than after packing.

Finished goods are released against the specification and shipped with a Certificate of Analysis for the batch, plus the artwork files we produced.

What is the minimum order for a private-label serum?

From 500 units per SKU. Ampoule sets are quoted per piece because of the extra filling step.

Can the formula be developed for our market?

Yes. Send the actives and the target positioning, and we come back with a base, a concentration and a texture for your approval before any batch runs.

Do you supply airless pumps as well as droppers?

Both are available. Airless pumps suit formulas that are sensitive to air contact; droppers suit water-light and oil textures.

Are the actives stable in the bottle you recommend?

That is exactly why container and formula are decided together. Where an active is sensitive, we propose the container that limits light and air exposure and confirm the fit on a working sample.
